It was the last night of the year
you and I were celebrating another reunion,
while the pace of the time still goes so fast
we must make our own night
before the clock is ticking faster,
signing the end of the year
once again,
our smiling faces were curving, facing the cruel world
Ignoring the everybody’s existence
our time had come
and it would be happier than ever
the crowd in our place
the actors who played their roles
the eruptions of the fireworks
the midnight bottle
silently, they became the witnesses of our great night
the night of the two endangered species who behaved like cats
my heart which was beating fast
and the warmness from your scent
ended the 2008 events in my life
and the ethereal touch to my cheek
started this year greatly
thank you for giving me the best starting year from the very beginning
if you want to know,
it was my best night of 2008
or maybe one of the best night in my lifetime
i know it very well, I don’t tell a lie
because I’m the one who feel this impressive feeling
and
if you want to know too,
I don’t feel any regret spending times with you
